What is Achilles tendinopathy?

It is a prevalent musculoskeletal disorder primarily observed in athletes, recreational exercisers, and individuals engaging in repetitive activities that load the Achilles tendon.   • Ultrasound and Laser Therapy: These modalities can aid in reducing pain and promoting tissue healing.

Prevention strategies focus on optimising training techniques, using appropriate footwear, and promoting adequate recovery. Monitoring training loads, incorporating cross-training, and maintaining proper biomechanics can help reduce the risk of Achilles tendinopathy.
