During this recent lockdown, I have not only been very busy home schooling my two daughters, I have managed to create a new, updated website to allow patients easier access to information and accessibility to appointment booking.
When will Head 2 Toe Osteopathy be offering clinical appointments again?
Due to the latest surge in Covid-19 infections and deaths, and despite being able to continue working laid out by Public Health England, I decided to cease clinical appointments. Why? I felt it was my duty to protect my patients, my family and teachers from potential exposure. It is evident there is a lot of fear over this new strain of coronavirus, and it has been encouraging to hear from patients that they also had the same thoughts and concerns.
As soon as infection rates slow, I will be re-opening for clinical appointments. Please be reassured I will be continuing to practice with the highest standards of infection control, and uprated use of PPE. A 20-minute lag between patient appointments will continue, and patients will be using 70% alcohol on both arrival and departure.
Prior to appointments, patients will complete a Covid-19 screening questionnaire and have their temperature taken on entry to the building.
